About Me

Overtime, the issue of race and race relations has been a debatable topic for decades and if not centuries on end. Racism is the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race alone so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or other races.
Although most people classify different races these days based on colors like the Blacks, Whites, Brown,  etc. It's important to note that race divisions were of the 19th century and they were divided into the; Mongoloid, Negroid, Caucasoid, and Australoid.
Race has often remain a potent social and political divisional force especially in multiracial countries like the United States and other countries in Europe.
A little bit after the election of the 44th US President in 2008 Barack Obama, there were talks about a "post racial America" that however well intended it seemed, it wasn't realistic because even in statistics, the United states is still seemed to be steeped in racism. Although race relations are much better than it was 20-30 years ago, there is still much to be done.
Race discrepancies can still be seen in the actions of people in the United states, hence the "Black lives matter" campaign.  When it comes to race and race relations, a lot still has to be done.
Although laws enough won't be enough for race relations to change, hearts and minds must change.
